Gridiron Matchups Launch
Posted by Bill Gaffney | September 25th, 2009Coming in tight against the weekend, we’ve finalized another interactive for the LIN sites: Gridiron Matchups.
After the launch of the Emmy Award interactive last week, I’m truly excited about this interactive’s long term value. We all know how fanatical sports fans can be and this offers a new opportunity to tap into that audience.
Like the Emmy interactive, this too focuses on engaging our viewers by asking them to select whom they believe will be the winners of this week’s NFL matchups. Voting is enabled up to five minutes before the first game and each submission is cookied for five minutes. The goal is for repeat submissions and return frequency to check how opinion is swaying.
