BBC nets paltry $3M in ad revenue

The controversial decision to starting running ads on the BBC’s interrnational news site has netted $3M versus the New York Times‘ $350m.

    I think you need to consider that the site only soft launched Novemeber - also the site doesn’t have the commercially focused pedigree of the NYT. Given time I think you’re looking at a global competitor
